Default Report on Ride to Grand Fathers party

Ride Report to the Grand Fathers Party in the Sierra Mountains;
Saturday after fixing my buddys bike, (blowing fuses due to shorted wire on running light). Left Sacramento at around 1100 and took highway 65 and then 70 to Marysville. Weather was warm and dry. (it is allways is dry from May to November here in California) Gloat---Gloat. Anyway, from Marysville took highway 20 to Marysville road, nice a curvy up to Dobbins and Lake Francis. Wonderful party, great music and food. The "Grand Fathers" always puts on a great feed and party. Temp was around 95 to 98 deg, shade everyware and lots of good beer and fruit smoothies. Did I say the Music was great? It was an overnight deal but we had to leave before night fall because the ride back to the San Francisco Bay Area is a two to three hour drive across farm land of the Sac Valley. Broke one mount on my buddys windshield and used a plastic tie rap to tie it back down. (good thing to pac in your tool pack allong with gray duct tap). At dusk, wind dropped off to nuthing and clouds of sceeters were in the air and then on to our windshields. All in all it was a fun day trip and ride. Love the California hosipitaltiy of fellow bikers.
