I was surprised!!! I have the forum saved in my links and hit it to come and see what has been going on and no forum! It did give me a link to get to biker Forums tho and hit it and wa la, there it was. I had to re-sign in...thank goodnes I remembered my passwaord!
I have been out break'n in my new '05 K1200LT. The little lady surprised me with the new bike!! The upgrades are mostly aesthetic...new dash config, new frnt fender, added lift bar on top box, slight power increase ect. ect. but the biggest change is the rake and trail of the front wheel, makes for easier slow speed turns .
Anyway, I took a little trip yesterday on her and went form here in Daytona to Tampa - Clearwater. Total of about 345 miles . Ran into a giant storm on the way home. The kind you have to follow the tail lights in front of ya and hope they are on the road! The bike handled flawlessly and I still contest it is the bike for me.
Still love the LT and all the expense is far surpassed by the pleasure of riding such a fine machine!
