Ok, wondering if anyone can advise??
Currently have Thundeheader for exhaust system
And thinking of getting Vance&Hines Long shots

Am I going to loose or gain any performance???

Cause I really wish my Thunderheader was chrome.......

 

you will be loosing power by taking of the thunderheader.....if you wish it was chrome simply take it off and send it out to be chromed......if your looking to change pipes check out the line of pipes made by BUBB....they are great performance pipes and are also great looking.....had them on many of my bikes!!!!!!!!!

 

you probably will loose some power,you can have it chromed as butcher stated.
Remember though, when changing your pipes, you may have to rejet your carb a little . If fuel injected.... some reccommend a power commander be installed with any exhaust change.
Do not they not sale chrome ones??

Thats kinda what I thought ---->>> loosing power/performance
so for now my budget says,
the black thunderheader will stay.

and by having them chromed/and then purchasing heatshields,
I might as well buy new chrome thunderheader /w/shields.
